PHotoESPAÑA and the Lanzarote Island Council organize for the seventh consecutive year an activity designed for photographers in which they will experiment with the medium and create a group project that on this occasion will be lead by Eduardo Nave.
Contemporary landscape would not be the same without medium and large format cameras. The interpretation of the spaces using these formats encourages a more paused and deeper reflection on the understandings of the surroundings.
In this PHotoWalk, the participants will analyze works by diverse artists that have used these cameras to depict landscapes and will explore essential aspects of the creative process: intuition, consistency, effort, solitude, and the labor of searching.
By way of hands-on sessions, the participants will learn to use large and medium formats, from measuring light to the final scan.
Date: November 2019
