The visual artist Javier Riera will display his latest project in the Plaza de Colón, Ripple in shadow, a visual metaphor about the hidden corners of nature
The outdoor screening will take place on Wednesday, September 30 in the monumental sculptural complex of Vaquero Turcios where the artist Javier Riera will propose Ripple in shadow, his last piece on the occasion of the exhibition that includes the Fernán Gómez under the same title as part of the programming of the Official Section of PHotoESPAÑA 2020.
Javier Riera's work is based on light projections in a geometric shape, made directly on nature and the landscape. It focuses on an experience of real intervention on space and time, thus approaching Land Art. Ripple in shadow focuses on the metaphorical power of natural spaces inaccessible to humans and the imaginary associations with which the deep psyche can connect with them.
Ripple in shadow It is also the title of the installation in the interior by Fernán Gómez, which completes a visual work in which the images take place in an inaccessible space, as fragile and fluid elements. An exhibition that can be visited from October 1 to 25.
The activity, produced thanks to the Madrid City Council, Fernán Gómez Centro Cultural de la Villa and with the collaboration of the Banco Sabadell Foundation, will be held on next September 30 from 21.00:24.00 p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. and access is free.
