Tomorrow Tuesday June 15, A las 10 hours, will be held in the PHE Gallery, the awards ceremony of the 1st edition of the Esperanza Pertusa International Photography Contest.
The Esperanza Pertusa International Photography Contest arises with the objective of recognizing and disseminating photographic artists whose work is focused on poverty and social exclusion experienced by millions of human beings in the world.
Summoning professionals and amateurs, the Esperanza Pertusa International Photography Contest seeks images that capture with the power of the gaze those who observe, exciting and inspiring to be part of the force of social transformation that the world demands.
In this first edition of the Contest, 62 artists of different nationalities have attended, with 182 photographs taken in more than 30 different locations, from South Sudan to Spain or family and physical intimacy. The jury was made up of the photographer Isabel Muñoz, the director of PHotoESPAÑA Claude Bussac and Juan Nicolás Martínez, Director of culture of the CEPAIM Foundation. The three will announce the winning works at the event tomorrow morning at the PHE Gallery.
