From today until September 21, one hundred points of urban furniture in the center of Madrid (among which are Plaza Cibeles, Glorieta de Bilbao, Glorieta de Quevedo, Plaza de Colón, Puerta de Alcalá, Avd. Castellana, Cuatro Caminos, Nuevos Ministerios…) will host an outdoor exhibition with the winning images of the call #VisitSpain launched by PHotoESPAÑA and OPPO, within the activities for the public of PHotoESPAÑA 2021.
The call, which PHotoESPAÑA and OPPO launched by inviting professional and amateur photographers to portray the natural corners and heritage of our country, received a total of 14.200 images. Among all of them, the jury has selected the ten winners, who in addition to being able to be seen in this exhibition, have been endowed with a prize of € 500 each.
Carlos Molina Novoa (@carlitrosmn), Carmela García (@carmenone), Cristina Grañena (@cristina_granena), Elena del Moral (@edelmphoto), Elena Salas Otero (@elensalas), Joaquín Weinbaum (@joaquincambaumstudios), Patricia Ostrowski (@patostgar ), Jesús Plaza Cámara (@plazacamara), Victoria Iglesias (@victoriaiglesiasphoto) and Yesenia Garcia Camacho (@yesi_garcia_c) have been the winners of the OPPO award.

Taking as a source of inspiration the work of Ramón Masats, one of the main chroniclers of the people and corners of Spain, #VisitSpain has built a “color map” of the wealth of our country this summer. In this way, the exhibition brings together a sample of the complete color map that has been woven over the last month and a half with photographs collected from all over the Spanish geography. From the greens of the north, to the blues of the Mediterranean, the golden tones of Castile or the brightness of Andalusia.
Along with the outdoor exhibition, the PHotoESPAÑA website has a gallery powered by OPPO with all participating images in which you can also perform personalized searches with a color filter.
The #VisitSpain call will also feature open-air exhibitions in other cities in Spain and thus throughout this week exhibitions will be inaugurated in Alcalá de Henares, Alicante, Badajoz, Burgos, Collado Villalba, Gijón, Las Rozas, León, Majadahonda, Pamplona, Pozuelo de Alarcón, Salamanca, Segovia, Soria, Torrejón de Ardoz and Zaragoza.
