#MadridCapitalSport2022
The General Directorate of Sport of the Madrid City Council and PHotoESPAÑA celebrate the proclamation of the city as World Capital of Sport 2022 through a call online for all audiences, which will lead to a street exhibition that intensifies the importance of practicing sports at all levels.
The world capital of sport recognizes the effort made by Madrid to bring sports activities to all districts, attending to different age groups, caring for people with disabilities and reinforcing the promotion of women's sports, among other values.
In this context, the call #MadridCapitalSport2022 seeks images that reflect well-being and improvement in the quality of life through the practice of physical activities in the city of Madrid. Photographs in which moments of fun, social integration, coexistence, education, respect, unity and teamwork are also sought.
An independent jury will choose the twenty best images, twenty "medallist" photographs that will make up an outdoor exhibition in the public space of Madrid.

Call closed
the summons online #MadridCapitalSport2022 will remain open between Monday October 17 and Sunday November 20, 2022. During this period of time, participation will take place through Instagram and the PHotoEspaña website.
Any person of legal age can participate and the theme of the photographs in the competition will be marked by the practice of grassroots sport in Madrid.
Participants must:
- Have a public profile for the duration of the call
Follow @photoespana_ account - Upload your photos through your Instagram profile, tagging them with the hashtag #MadridCapitalDeporte2022 and mentioning the account @photoespana_
- Register your participation through the form below where the bases of participation are accepted
With all the participating images, the Festival will carry out weekly, during the period in which the call remains open, a selection of the best photographs, which can be seen in a virtual gallery on this page.
Once the call is over, a jury made up of 3 independent professionals will choose the 20 best images for their exhibition. Among these 20 "medallists", a gold, a silver and a bronze will be awarded, whose authors will receive a prize of 300 euros each.
