Nearly a hundred books make up this exhibition with which PHotoESPAÑA wants to recognize once again the great work carried out by the publishing industry for the dissemination of photography.
In recent years, photography books have become a collector's item for lovers of the medium and a format in which, thanks to the conceptual and creative possibilities it offers, more and more authors trust to communicate and enrich their projects.
With the aim of supporting editorial production, PHotoESPAÑA has granted since its inception in 1998 the Best Photography Book of the Year Award, in three different categories: national, international and self-published. This sample is made up of the finalist publications that compete for these awards, decided by a committee of experts made up of industry professionals. In addition, in each edition the Festival also recognizes the work of an Outstanding Publisher of the Year.
