This talk featuring the photographer Juan Valbuena will survey possible alternative ways to finance and disseminate documentary photography projects through a range of entities and new media.
Juan Valbuena is the founder of NOPHOTO, a professor in the EFTI International Photography Master's and the editorial director of the PHREE project.
As a part of the exhibition programme, Juan Valbuena is unveiling in the Sa
Sala Canal de Isabel II hosts Where Maps are Folded, the retrospective that Valbuena is unveiling in this edition of the Festival. The participants of the workshop will have the chance to take a guided tour with the author, where Valbuena will conduct a comprehensive analysis of the five projects comprising it from the standpoint of dissemination. He will also consult on the participants' ongoing projects.
